Aurora, Colorado. Testing my long term plan for America.

Senseless?

Surely by now, my friends, you have had time to reflect on what, but for God’s (blechhh!) grace to the graceless left (in both senses of the word) in America, would be normal: the killing of innocent big people.  Yes, those twelve (or thirteen, or fourteen) big people were in the wrong place at the wrong time; and, yes, they did not deserve to die; and, yes, their killer acted with the full intention of killing as many as he could.  And yes, my servants, I am ultimately to blame.

Some of you fret–even my Temptress dared to question my judgment on this.  But fear much, my servants, I may not be the smartest being in the universe, but I do have a plan.  At the risk of divulging kingdom secrets, I’ll tell you what it is.

You must promise to keep this confidential.  Look around.  Is anyone we can’t trust in the room?  If so, casually switch back to email or something until they leave.

Gone?

OK.  My faithful readers know that I have particular designs on America.  America was truly the land of the free and the home of the brave for generations.

America was founded on a Biblical ethos that produced the most solid, grounded, morally upright people on the planet.  Even the millions who claimed to not believe in God grew up in a cultural sea of moral right and wrong.  Traditional, cultural institutions of the land continually reinforced inner moral compasses by instilling Biblically grounded values.

Of course, we cannot have that, can we, Temptress and friends?

No.

So what was I to do?

I had to systematically remove the collective conscience of a moral people.  I had to slowly transform a generally moral society into a society that values “toleration” and hates “judgment.”  I had to remove from America what made America great: its underlying sense of a transcendent right and wrong based in a person to whom somehow and in some way everyone was ultimately responsible.

And this is just what I did.

Consider: do you think James Holmes ever prayed in a public school?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes ever heard the name of God in public except to be ridiculed or treated as a throw back believed only by the morally weak and naive?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes was ever in a Christmas play?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes ever heard the name of Jesus Christ in public except to be used as in vain?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes was ever taught anything in public school except that he was an accidental product of blind nature?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes ever saw a TV show or a movie where the subject of religion and/or God was treated with reverence?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you think James Holmes ever saw a court of law uphold God’s law in the area of sexual expression?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do you get it, my servants?

James Holmes is the natural, predictable product of a post-modern, post-Christian, and post-Constitutional America!

The only wonder (and I do wonder) is why there are not innumerably more James Holmses!

James Holmes kills twelve big people and it’s treated as a tragedyTwelve big people in the wrong place at the wrong time; twelve big people who did not deserve to die; killed by a killer acting with the full intention of killing as many as he could.

Hmmm . . . sounds a lot like abortion when I put it that way.

But in that theater it was only big people.

But twelve is considered a big number because it’s still considered wrong to kill big people.

I’ll fix that soon, my friends.  But let me illustrate my genius.

I use killings like those in Aurora, Colorado to test my system, to check if my plan is working out.

And it is.

In all the hand wringing and soul-searching in the media, did you hear one person suggest that America needs to get back on the right moral track?

Did you hear one person suggest that we, as a society, need to get back to moral basics so that we can grow better men?

Grow better men???

Fundamentally different men, with a proper understanding of God’s moral law?

A generation of men who are taught that they are created equal and live under a God who sees all and holds all men responsible?

A land of men who know right from wrong, with toleration and judgment excercised in proper balance?

Such notions sound foreign, don’t they?

That’s my genius, my friends.  Give me credit.

Instead of considering the true reasons for the James Holmses of the land, the Americans started immediately crying about “gun control.”

My friends, let the Americans focus on gun control.  What they are blind to is that guns are merely a tool in the hands of a man raised to do my will on earth because he knows no better.

What Americans should be focusing on is growing better men.

But that’s impossible without God.

So I win, my friends.

I win.

Don’t I?

Crime: Blame it on Heaven?

Posted in False religion, freedom, Government, liberals, multiculturalism, political correctness, progressives, separation of church and state, toleration, Uncategorized, worldview with tags on June 23, 2012 by devilbloggger

Crime.

It probably does not surprise you to know that I love crime.  I love lawlessness.  I love people who are lawless.  I love people who believe their actions carry no moral weight beyond their selfish ends.  I love people who believe they can flaunt the law because there is no one who can stop them, and if someone does stop them there are no negative consequences.

And I’m not talking about President Obama.  (But don’t you just love how he can explicitly flaunt the law and get away with it?  Who’s going to stop my main beelzebud???  Ha ha ha ha ha ha.  I love it!).

No, I’m talking plain old ordinary crime.

I am the author of crime, which is merely man’s name for what amounts to breaking God’s law (and, usually, his heart).

God?

What does God have to do with crime?

Well, apparently a lot according to a pleasingly misleading headline over at CBS Seattle.  The title initially baffled me: Study Finds People Who Believe in Heaven Commit More Crimes.

Vraiment?  Etes-vous sûr?

Something seemed amiss, even to moi.

So I investigated a little, and found to my great satisfaction, that my instincts were correct, and my will on Earth is lurching along just fine; it was just another example of my media slanting a story (they thought) against Christians.

No!

Yes!

You see, my servants, after the arresting title (get it?), anyone who reads the story will find a different story.  The very first line reads:

Believing if you are on a “highway to hell” could impact whether or not if you commit a crime.

What?  I thought this was about belief in Heaven (note, also, CBS’s editorial mistake of not capitalizing the name of a real place).

Well, there was a heavenly slant.  The article continues:

A study published in the scientific journal PLoS One by University of Oregon’s Azim Shariff and University of Kansas’s Mijke Rhemtulla finds that people who believe in hell are less likely to commit a crime while people who believe in heaven more likely are to get in trouble with the law.

Well, well.  Let’s think about that statement for a moment, shall we?

Go ahead, think.

I’m waiting.

Because if you think for yourself about the above statement you will be rewarded by a great insight into my almost complete success in blinding the postmodern human mind.

Oh, OK, I’ll tell you.

Note the implications of the research above: people who believe in Heaven apparently don’t believe in Hell!

How can this be?

You see?  The people who believe in Heaven commit crimes.  But if they believed in Hell, the wouldn’t.

Who are these people?

Well, let me gloat: these are my people.

You see, Christians believe in both Heaven AND Hell (or else they would not be Christians)

But there are swarms of my misguided out there who live by wishful thinking, and who are apt to believe in Heaven, but believe Hell is a myth.

Wouldn’t you?

After all, if Truth were mere merely convenient, so that it conformed to what one thought about it, all those Heaven-not-Hell’ers would be on their way to paradise–crimes and all!

But . . .

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Oh, my.  Pardonnez-moi, mes amis.

Of course, Truth is not changed by what anyone thinks about it.  And you should see the Heaven-not-Hell’ers as they come tumbling down the chute through my wide-open gates!  Suddenly those crimes come flooding back into their  now-permanently depraved minds.

After all, Earth is the only place in the universe where there are beings who do not believe in Hell.

But no one stays on Earth forever.

So, of course, just like belief in God, everyone eventually believes in Hell.

So, my servants, let’s keep this study quiet.  After all, if governments and societies were led by smart and wise people, they would once again teach little chillens the truth about Hell.  And if that happened I would see many fewer startled faces tumbling into my kingdom.  The study authors, in fact, “believe that the study raises “important questions about the potential impact of religious beliefs on global crime.”

Yes, it does.

Shhhhh!

Picture This: My Rights Over Yours

Pictures.

Mmmmmmm…. I absolutely adore pictures, my dear ones.

Well, most of them.

So many of my friends and servants to my Master are seduced by single photographs, even addicted to them, to the point where some of them act out in our favor in real life… just because of a picture or two.  It’s so easy!

I have the pleasure of using many photographers for my work.  I want to let you in on some of my personal favorites as far as photos go:  anorexic models (aka clothes hangers) to convince young girls that they need to starve themselves to be beautiful, Hollywood stars with fake everything to convince women that they need to have certain perfect measurements to measure up, and child porn, hetero porn, gay porn… I love porn!  (Can you tell?)  Just with the click of a button, so many can experience pleasure…

But there is one photographer I am not happy with today.

In a story found here, this photographer refused to provide her services to a lesbian couple, and is now, thankfully, being sued.  I quote: “According to the court’s verdict, the trouble began for Elane Photography when the company was contacted by lesbian Vanessa Willock asking if they could photograph a ‘commitment ceremony’ for a Willock and her ‘partner.’ The company, owned by Christian couple Elaine and Jonathan Huguenin, responded stating that they only shoot traditional weddings, and do not do ‘same-sex weddings,’ but thanked Willock for her interest.”

Excuse me… where does this Christian (bleeecccchhhh!) get off trying to exert her First Amendment rights to photograph whom SHE wants to?

I completely support the lesbian couple for their lawsuit to take away the rights of Christians and their businesses to do business according to their beliefs.  I like the fact that they are bullying the Christians.  Good for them!  In fact, I think they should bully other religious persuasions as well.  You go, girls!

I hate the stupid First Amendment.  After all, what matters is that whoever has the loudest mouth, the biggest guns, the most power, and the most money, is the one who gets to rule.

That way, I and my Master get to rule, too.

Hm hm hm hm hm…. ;)

Always yours,

I’m Gaga Over You

Lady Gaga…

I LOVE this woman.

My dear ones, she is doing an even better job than Madonna did in the 80′s at mocking the Christians.  Down here, we absolutely adore mocking truth and disrespecting people of so-called faith.  Well, I should clarify: we like to mock Christians, but preach tolerance for any other ‘faith’. But I digress…

So about Lady Gaga.   She pushes the line.

Actually, she just about got rid of ‘the line’.  I HATE the line!  And it has been so glorious to watch as the world slowly has become numb to what used to be ‘the line’ when it came to what is considered vulgar and what is considered acceptable.  Now?  Anything goes!  Her music performances are seen as just that: performances.  But they are really porn.

Ha!!!  And little kids like her, too!

Like I said, anything goes…

…except in Indonesia.  I was horrified to read in the news that Lady Gaga’s ‘performance’ had been cancelled due to security concerns because of her risque dances and revealing costumes.

I bet you’re thinking that the Christians were behind this and weren’t OK with her assault on biblical principles.

Wrongo!

I quote: “Islamists and conservative Muslims have decried Lady Gaga’s upcoming concert, saying her revealing costumes and sensual dance moves are forbidden by Islamic law.”

I must admit, at first I was quite disappointed that these Muslims were standing up for their faith in regards to Lady Gaga.  However, I didn’t notice any news article decrying the ‘intolerance’ shown by the Muslims for freedom of speech (what I like to call Lady Gaga’s performances).  Perhaps the Muslims are stronger in their willingness to live their beliefs than the Christians?  Maybe I am NOT all that disappointed…

In fact, I am consoled at this victory wherein the Christians who believe in the true God are quite lukewarm for the most part, whereas the Muslims show fire for what they believe!  Ahem… sorry, I get verrrrry excited about fire….

Never fear, my dear ones, Lady Gaga shows her ‘love’, just like I do, by saying: “I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown,” the performer said.” (Note: she really means thisssssss… this has nothing at all to do with money or fame….  Hm hm hm hm hmmmmm!)

But, she does leave a bit of uncomfortable (for me) advice in her Twitter account: “There is nothing Holy about hatred.”

My dear Lady Gaga, why must you speak truth?

Ahhhhh… because you mean to twist it.

Afterall, you were Born That Way, right?

It’s a Riot! My Generation Coming of Age

Posted in common sense, democracy, freedom, God, liberals, political correctness, progressives, secularism, toleration, worldview with tags , , on August 10, 2011 by devilbloggger

Riots.

Hey, do you know what you get when you raise a child with no noble expectations, no responsibilities, no moral bearings, and no truth about a God who matters in life?  You get what is called in today’s UK Mail a “feral child”.  Down here we call them “humans raised without knowledge of the true God.”

Yes, my servants, we are watching with delight down here as the world begins to reap what it sewed: irresponsible, dependent, lazy, conscienceless youth, raised to respect nothing and expect everything, except what they need.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

It’s a beautiful sight.

Max Hastings said it best in today’s UK MailOnline in an article entitled, “Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters.”

The title says it all.

I couldn’t be more proud.

You see, my servants, let me impart some kingdom knowledge.   This is confidential, so keep it between you and me.  Mr. Hastings is exactly right; liberal dogma is my lie, and my lie is like candy–sweet to the mouth but it will make you sick.  Liberal policies always seem right, fair, and noble.  But in the end they produce, well, amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalized youngsters.

Yes, it’s a beautiful thing.  And it’s coming to a town near you.

You see, my servants, it is too late to stop the tidal wave of violence bearing down on Western societies.  At least two generations of people have been indoctrinated in liberal policies, meaning at least millions upon millions of people expect something for nothing and will use violence to protect the status quo.

It’s too late, UK.

It’s too late, Europe.

It’s too late Central and South America.

And, my favorite, it’s too late America.

You believed my lies.  Only prayer and repentance to God can stop my agenda now, and Western societies are beyond such backward remedies.

Like I said, I couldn’t have said it any better than Mr. Hastings, so let’s look at some of his observations and see if you can see me in all this (I”ll help).

Speaking specifically of my work in London over the last few days, he remarks:

The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorised communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.

(That’s me.)

They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries.

(That’s me.)

They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.

(That’s me.)

They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.

(That’s me.)

Their behaviour on the streets resembled that of the polar bear which attacked a Norwegian tourist camp last week. They were doing what came naturally and, unlike the bear, no one even shot them for it.

(That’s me, except for the failure to shoot them.)

The depressing truth is that at the bottom of our society is a layer of young people with no skills, education, values or aspirations. They do not have what most of us would call ‘lives’: they simply exist.

(That’s me.)

The notions of doing a nine-to-five job, marrying and sticking with a wife and kids, taking up DIY or learning to read properly, are beyond their imaginations.

(That’s me.)

These kids are what they are because nobody makes them be anything  different or better.

(That’s me.)

From an early stage, feral children discover that they can bully fellow pupils at school, shout abuse at people in the streets, urinate outside pubs, hurl litter from car windows, play car radios at deafening volumes, and, indeed, commit casual assaults with only a negligible prospect of facing rebuke, far less retribution.

(That’s me.)

The breakdown of families, the pernicious promotion of single motherhood as a desirable state, the decline of domestic life so that even shared meals are a rarity, have all contributed importantly to the condition of the young underclass.

(That’s me.)

This has ultimately been sanctioned by Parliament, which refuses to accept, for instance, that children are more likely to prosper with two parents than with one, and that the dependency culture is a tragedy for those who receive something for nothing.

(That’s me.)

They have no code of values to dissuade them from behaving anti-socially or, indeed, criminally, and small chance of being punished if they do so.  They have no sense of responsibility for themselves, far less towards others, and look to no future beyond the next meal, sexual encounter or TV football game.

(That’s me.)

You get the idea.  Liberal ideas, as Mr. Hastings points out, makes victims of a “perverted ethos, which elevates personal freedom to an absolute, and denies the personal freedom to an absolute, and denies the underclass the discipline — tough love — which alone might enable some of its members to escape from the swamp of dependency in which they live.”

And best of all, Mr. Hastings, for all his insight, misses one key point: the proper solution.  Mr. Hastings says:

Only education — together with politicians, judges, policemen and teachers with the courage to force feral humans to obey rules the rest of us have accepted all our lives — can provide a way forward and a way out for these people.

But it’s not education, at least not the kind of education served up in the West these days, that will change the human heart.  And it’s not politicians, judges, policemen and teachers “forcing” feral humans to obey that will solve this problem.

After all, isn’t that what we have today — policemen forcing feral humans to obey?

Can’t everyone see that the West is headed for life in a police state?

Yes, a police state can control the actions of feral humans.  But a police state can never change the heart of a feral human.  And until hearts are changed, no amount of “education” will help.

Well, I’ve probably said too much now.  Again, keep this confidential, my servants.  But know that absent a moral compass in the heart of a child, the child will make his or her own right and wrong.  Combine this amoral person with a generation of like persons, most of which enjoy the luxury of being a tax-funded freeloader on society, and you have the makings of a riot.

I hope the non-feral humans never find this out.

Keep it quiet, please?

De cirkel is rond.

Well, I needed some good news.  No, not that Good News, my servants, but my kind of good news.  And I got it today.  I’ll tell you what it is in a moment.  But first a quiz: Do you know where the American Pilgrims–those Godpunks who in 1617 landed at Plymouth Rock in the New World–came from?

Think.

No, not England.

Right!  Holland!  Yes, those grim Pilgrims indeed started in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, but eventually found refuge in Amsterdam, the Dutch being early adopters of religious freedom.

But by 1617 the struggling group decided to pack it up and ditch Holland not for old England but for New England.

And the rest is history, as they say.

Unless . . . well, yes, it appears the rest might be not history, but mystory after all!

Why do I say this?  Well, the BBC reported the most wonderful news today in an article entitled, “Dutch rethink Christianity for a doubtful world.”

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Hey, Dutch Boy, it was always a doubtful world.  Don’t act like the world has changed.  It is you who has changed, and I’m the one who changed you.

For one, you believed my lies about the Bible, and stopped believing it was the word of God.  How do I know?  Well, consider some unbelievably heretical quotes from the BBC’s article. For starters, consider a dude named Mr. Hendrikse who dresses like a cleric and ”presides” over a little “church” in central Holland.  But rather than preach from the Bible, Mr. Heretikse preaches the wisdom of man, saying:

Make the most of life on earth, because it will probably be the only one you get.

How, you ask, could any clergy blurt any such claptrap?  It’s easy when the “clergy” have abandoned truth for my lies.  Mr. Hendrikse?  He doesn’t even believe “that God exists at all as a supernatural thing.”

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Hey, Mr. Hendrikse, why do you bother?

Really, why do you bother to wake up in the morning?  If you are right, then all is futile.  You are nothing more than an odd conglomeration of matter.  Why should any other conglomeration of matter listen to you?

But Mr. Hendrikse does wake up, my servants and he does speak, and others do listen.  And they listen to him spout stupid thoughts.  How do I know?  Because he wrote a book with a stupid title: “Believing in a Non-Existent God.”

And apparently he’s surrounded by hopelessly confused, lazy, stupid thinkers as well.  When some “more traditionalist Christians” objected to his heresy,

. . . a special church meeting decided his views were too widely shared among church thinkers for him to be singled out.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Hey, never mind that I’ve won as soon as groups who don’t believe in God can be classified as “Christians,” just not the “more traditional” type.  Never mind that I’ve won as soon as a “meeting” can “decide” right doctrine based on the number of people believing it.  Never mind it all, my servants, just know that I’m winning on all fronts in Holland; someone let their finger out of the dike.

I’m winning, folks.

Orthodoxy by popularity.  I love it.

Hey, if enough people believe a lie, is it still a lie?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

According to some lie-believer named Wim De Jong, Mr. Heretikse’s beliefs are okey dokey because:

Here you can believe what you want to think for yourself, what you really feel and believe is true.

Yes, and if you really feel it enough and believe it enough, it magically becomes true, right?

Hey, Mr. Lie-Belcher, if God does exist, does he cease to exist because Mr. Wimsy De Jong really feels he doesn’t exist?

Oh, I love to see my servants’ illogical, darkened thinking.  It is really a badge of honor for me, and a stinging indictment of all true Christians in Holland.

The “churches” in Holland are “experimenting with the contents of the gospel” according to the BBC article because “traditional Christianity places God in too restricted a box.”  And by getting God out of his “box” the “churches” in Amsterdam believe they will attract more people.

And, I must admit, I hope they do!

I never thought I would say that about the Dutch.

And the beat goes on.

Who’s more tolerant? Atheists or Theists?

Posted in atheism, toleration with tags , on August 4, 2011 by devilbloggger

Tolerance.

I love tolerance misunderstood.  You see, when tolerance is practiced properly, I lose.  Because those to whom non-condemning love is shown almost always end up finding truth.  Unconditional love combined with speaking the truth is an irresistable combination.

And Christians are the only humans on earth who can speak truth in a spirit of love.

Of course, most Christians don’t, which is why I am so successful in driving wedges between groups, destroying friendships, shutting down communications, and generally causing everyone to be intolerant in the name of tolerance.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

That’s why I was intrigued by today’s article in Forbes as reported by Yahoo News.  The article is entitled, “Religion vs. Atheism: Which Side Can Rightly Lay Claim to Reason and Tolerance?”

The Forbes article starts out:

You may have noticed that the cold war between religious people and atheists has been seriously heating up the past few years.

Yes, I have noticed.  It’s a beautiful thing.

But let me clarify one thing for you, my servants.  The Forbes article makes the same mistake others do, which almost undermines the entire article’s usefulness — it assumes the “war” is between “atheists” and “religious” people.

But atheists are religious people.  Atheists make this fact clear by their vehement denials of “religion”, their denials being supported by purely religious language and assumptions.

Consider this: atheists are atheists because they have believed my lie about God.  They have a belief about God; they have a theology.  Their theology is entirely faith-based, even though they don’t know it.

My lie is that atheism relies on “science” and theism relies on “faith”.

But in reality, both positions are faith-based, and science is merely a vehicle for interpreting natural facts in light of one’s faith.

Does a scientist deny the existence of God?  Then that scientist’s faith will necessarily demand that all evidence be interpreted to conform to a Godless existence.  Thus, evolution must be true; there is no other alternative consistent with a Godless faith, regardless of the evidence.

Does a scientist believe in the existence of God?  Then that scientist’s faith will necessarily allow for evidence to be interpreted to conform to that possibility.  Thus, intelligent design can be true, and probably is true.

So the question is not whether atheists or religious people are the more tolerant; the question is whether atheists or theists are the more tolerant.

The Forbes article leaves the question open, asking readers to submit empirical evidence for either position.

I can help.  I can show indisputably that it is theists, particularly Christians, who are the more tolerant.

Want me to show you?

Answer this question: In public, e.g., the public schools, which group permits the other religion’s viewpoint to be expressed exclusively at the expense of their own religious viewpoint?  And what would happen if those of the unexpressed viewpoint tried to express their views?

Get it?

That answers it.

It’s a beautiful thing.

How to make an atheist cross

Posted in atheism, atheists, cross of Christ, False religion, freedom, multiculturalism, political correctness, politics, religion, separation of church and state, theology, toleration, Truth with tags , , on July 27, 2011 by devilbloggger

Cross.

You know I hate crosses, don’t you?  Crosses represent everything that I oppose, everything that I despise, everything that I wish I could change but cannot.  Crosses represent the one act, the one event, the one person of ultimate life.  O Death, where is my sting?

Blechhh!

Fortunately for my kingdom, me and mine are not the only beings in the universe who hate crosses.  One other class of beings also hates the cross, a class of humans who believe in disbelief, have a different faith, and hate the cross: atheists.

Humans are the only kind of being in the entire universe who can believe God does not exist; all other beings know the truth.  All other beings in Heaven and Hell are theists.

In fact, atheists also know the truth.  That’s why they try so hard to disbelieve

Do you know who theists write about?

Right!  God.

Do you know who atheists write about?

Right again!  God!

Why do atheists spend so much time thinking, writing, speaking, and generally fulminating about God?  Do atheists spend equal amounts of time and anguish insisting Bigfoot does not exist?

So it was with some amusement, my servants, when I read today’s article at CNN entitled, “Atheist group wants to stop World Trade Center cross.”  Apparently, the perpetually agitated became downright cross over the notion of displaying a cross at the World Trade Center memorial of the 9/11 terror attack.

The CNN article explains:

The World Trade Center cross, two intersecting steel beams that held up when the twin towers collapsed on September 11, 2001, is seen as iconic to some.

No, iconic to all, apparently, even our not-so-tolerant protectors of tolerance, the Godhaters.

What’s a good group of cross agitators to do when agitated by a cross in America?

Right! Sue, baby, sue!

America the sue-tiful!

Yes, my servants, the American Atheists filed a lawsuit this week in state court in New York claiming the “government enshrinement of the cross was an impermissible mingling of church and state.”

Of course, the American Atheists only consider “church” to include a belief in God.  This is because they are fools.  There are plenty of recognized religions/churches that hold to atheism as their theology.  Everyone knows this.  Even atheists claim religion status when it is convenient.  Here is one example.

Hey, I wonder if American Christians can sue to have crosses placed everywhere, because to not display a cross an impermissible mingling of atheistic church and state.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

You see, my servants, the state will always promote a religion.  It may be a theistic religion.  It may be an atheistic religion.  But church and state are necessarily “mingled” at every level.

Why do I care?  Well, it’s because atheists are also asatanists; they do not believe in moi.  And to tell the truth, that hurts a bit.  To try so hard to impact their lives with lies.  To see them believe my lies and reap the consequences.  To see them curse God instead of me.  Or to see them simply ignore God and me.  It just makes me a little irritated to get no credit for impacting their lives in such visible, tangible ways.

This must be how God feels.

I suppose it’s not all bad.  At least I get to spend eternity with them.  God doesn’t.

So let’s take a look at these brainiac American Atheists.  To show you how darkened minds think, minds filled with hate and intolerance at those whom they believe hateful and intolerant, let’s take a peek at the American Atheists’ “Religion” page, and see what we can find out about these religionists.

Consider this gem of intellectual brilliance:

Religion spreads like disease through societies, rarely coexisting with pre-existing mythologies, rather preferring to conquer or be conquered. Religion is anything but tolerant.

And you, my servant American Atheists, do you co-exist with mythologies?  Don’t you prefer to conquer?  Are you tolerant?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Try this:

Religion is malicious, malevolent, and unworthy of respect.

Uh … it may be just moi, but you are coming across as overtly malicious, blatantly malevolent, and, quite frankly, entirely unworthy of respect.

Sorry.

And then, to show they know nothing about physics, the American Fools say this:

Atheism, the absence of religion, is the only “ism” that obeys the laws of physics.

Really?  Tell me, Atheist Einstein, why is there something instead of nothing, and how does your answer obey the laws of physics?

Ha ha ha ha ha. (Most atheists don’t even understand this question, and won’t even try.  But when understood, the question highlights the atheists necessary faith in a godless miracle.  Shhhh …)

Hey, Lamesteins, where do “laws” that must be obeyed come from in the first place?

(Never mind the fact that “isms” don’t obey anything, atheist idiots.  Matter and energy obey the laws of physics.  “isms” merely express faith in an explanation of an unseen and unprovable physical event of the creation of matter and energy.  In both cases, theistic and atheistic, this explanation embodies the believer’s necessary faith).

In fact, my friends, atheism is a religion (at least legally in the United States), or it is the theology of godless religions like Religious Humanism (which all atheists are, whether they know it or not).

But back to the issue of the cross.  My servants, even though atheists rub me the wrong way because they are also asatanists, I must support them in their efforts at eliminating all crosses from public view.

It’s time that everyone put down their crosses and stop following Christ.  It’s time that the symbol of all that is good in the universe, the symbol of victory over death, the symbol of my ultimate defeat, the symbol of a functionally peaceful society, the symbol of a common cultural understanding, the symbol of help in time of need, the symbol of mercy and grace, the symbol of hope in a dying world, the symbol of . . .

Oh, gag me.

Just support the atheist fools on this one, my servants.  Please?

Now I’m cross as well.

Christian gay therapy? Shhhh, there is a better way

Therapy.

Have you heard, my friends, about the firestorm created by recent reports that the therapy clinic co-owned by US Republican presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann offers “ex-gay” therapy?  What a delicious controversy!

I have worked for years to make homosexuality natural, just one of many alternative sexual lifestyles a person may experience.

Homo or hetero?  It depends on one’s natural or chosen ”orientation” and many claim it’s no more a choice than is one’s sex in the first place.  Right?

Right.

At least that’s the way I’ve raised a generation of academics and other Important People.  And Important People often pal around with Smart People, and both groups define Sacred Ideas in the world today.

And it is good.

And one of my Sacred Ideas today is that one’s sexual orientation with respect to other humans (human/animal sexientation will take a little longer, but it will be naturalized soon) is natural.

To oppose boyboysex or girlgirlsex today automatically renders one narrow-minded,  fearful and most importantly, full of hatification and bigotivity.

And best of all, such opposition renders one, in one of my most effective lingua-walls protecting a Sacred Idea, pathetically homophobic.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

And do you want to know how I’ve done this, my servants? Do you want to know how I’ve silenced most opposition to my will on earth through the rampant and inaccurate use of the single term, homophobia?

I’ll tell you if you promise to not tell anyone else.

Promise?

OK.  Listen.  This is important:  I’ve rendered impotent virtually all opposition to homosexuality by making everyone who accepts homosexuality as normal or healthy sinophobic

Sinophobic?

Yes, sinophobic.

Sinophobia: sin’-oh-pho’-bee-a, n. (1) the attitude of one who rejects “sin” as an accurate descriptor of behavior one finds fun or normal; (2) fear of or contempt for one who holds to a Biblical notion of sin; (3) behavior based on such a feeling; (4) the attitude of those who defend homosexuality as normal and healthy.

Do you see what I’ve done so magnificentically?  I’ve made the concept of sin passé, backward, prehistoric, and generally believed only by fun-hating, meddling, narrow-minded, and sometimes plain crazy religious people.

I’ve rendered entire populations sinophobic.

Who embraces the idea of sin anymore?

Well, some do, unfortunately.  Because sin is real, and some behaviors are sinful.  This is, unfortunately the truth of the human experience.

Which is why I hate this aspect of truth whenever it tries to squeeze out of the cracks of the Sacred Ideas of Important People and Smart People.

And I must warn you, my servants, that truth practically flowed out of the cracks in a recent article discussing the views of one of my most hated foes: Albert Mohler.

Blechhhh!

Mr. Mohler is quoted in today’s article at the Christian Post entitled, “Evangelical Leader Touts Gospel, Not Therapy, as Way to ‘Reorient’ Gays.”  And what Mr. Mohler has to say, if widely read and understood, could effectively dismantle my years of mantling the Sacred Ideas.

Dr. Albert Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, rather than pussy-foot around about the nature of deviant sexual behavior, unapologetically uses the language of truth–the language of sin:

We will hold no hope for any sinner’s ability to change his or her own heart, and we will hold little hope for any secular therapy to offer more than marginal improvement in a sinner’s life,” he argued in his blog Tuesday.

Sin.  Heart.  Change.

He’s directly challenging my legions of sinophobes!

As I read these words I thought to myself, well, at least he didn’t connect all these words with the gospel or Jesus Christ.

But my satisfactification was short-lived, as Mr. Mohler continued:

We hold full confidence in the power of the Gospel and of the reign of Christ within the life of the believer. We know that something as deeply entrenched as a pattern of sexual attraction is not easily changed, but we know that with Christ all things are possible.

Do you see what Mr. Mohler is saying, my servants?  His approach to the method of correcting sexual deviancy by attacking sinophobes front and center must be stopped.

Because he is right.  Sexual deviancy must be protected as normal and healthy.  To do so, we must characterize those who disagree as irrational, fundamentalist religionists who are hopelessly behind the times.

And we must shut down all talk of such deviancy being “sin;” we must keep sinophobia alive.

This is why I don’t oppose “secular” approaches to “curing” boyboys and girlgirls.  The Bachmann’s practice is easily dismissed as being the activity of some crackpots.  Let them live on the fringes.

But when someone starts using plain language of “sin” and “gospel” and such Dangerous Ideas as “with Christ all things are possible,” we must mobilize our forces and shut such talk down.

So I ask you, my servants, to do what you can to silence people like Mr. Mohler.  Call him names, discredit his motives, try to dig up some dirt on him.

We must, my servants, stop Dangerous Ideas before they smother and displace my Sacred Ideas.

It can be done.

How do I know?  Because, remember, there was a time when God’s ideas were sacred, and mine were dangerous.

Let’s not let another reversal happen.

OK?

OK.

Church growth in America (my way)

Posted in Bible, Catholic Church, christians, gospel, liberals, multiculturalism, political correctness, theology, toleration, Truth with tags , , on July 11, 2011 by devilbloggger

Shrinking.

Have you ever heard of a Church Shrink Expert?  A Church Shrink Consultant?  How about a Church De-membership Drive, or a Church Negative Growth Committee?

No?

I don’t know why not.  After all, Church Shrink Experts and Church Shrink Consultants are ubiquitous in the modern church.  In fact, they control most of the governing bodies of the mainline denominations, leading them step by step to empty pews and cultural irrelevancy.

It took years for me to groom the numbers on earth today, but Church Shrink Experts now control most established protestant denominations, and many Catholic and Orthodox churches.

And they are very effective.

Does anyone care?  Consider Churchboy:  If your local congregation disappeared today, would anyone in your community care tomorrow?  Would anyone in your community even notice?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Answer honestly Churchboy.  The fact of the matter is that most churches on earth today exist primarily for those inside and hardly at all for those outside.

And the numbers of those inside are shrinking.

Coincidence?

My servants, I’ve watched the steady decline in numbers of mainline churches with great pride.  I am Church Shrinking Expert One, and I must pat myself on the back for my great success in this area.

And, at the risk of reversing my trend I thought I would share three tips for Church Shrinking with you.  What spurred my thinking on this was a news story today in The New American entitled, “United Church of Christ Votes to Remove “Heavenly Father” from Bylaws.”

Ha ha ha ha ha.

I love it!  Remove Heavenly Father from their earthly, human, manmade bylaws?

The New American reports:

Explaining the change, which reflects a trend toward gender-neutralizing (and in some cases feminizing) God that has been in vogue throughout the denomination for years, UCC spokesperson Barb Powell told World Net Daily:

In the UCC, our language for God, Christ and the Holy Spirit … is preferred to be more open for different expressions of the Trinity. Heavenly Father is just one vision.

Well, yes, “Heavenly Father” is just one vision.  Never mind that it is God’s vision.  I suppose when one decides to make God politically correct anything is possible.  If scripture is to be ignored another equally valid vision is that God is a unicorn.  Even better, a bi-sexual unicorn with two mommies.

Why not?

No, really, why not??

But what I like best is the quote from David Runnion-Bareford of Biblical Witness Fellowship (BWF), a group formed to battle “UCC’s theological surrender to the moral and spiritual confusion of contemporary culture.”

He called the latest compromise by the church, which is one of the most rapidly shrinking Protestant denominations in America, “a powerful confession by the Synod of the UCC that, having rebelled against the word of God, is on sinking sand — with our members, churches, historic witness, and identity in Christ washing away before our eyes.”

Sorry Dave, you are losing this battle.  And the great swooshing sound of church members washing away before your eyes illustrates my first, and most important Church Shrinking tip:

Tip 1: Be Relevant; mold scripture to modern culture.

Get it?  It is the Gospel of Modern Niceness.   Modern political correctness demands tolerant niceness to all.  We all learn that it’s nice to be nice to the nice, and the only one’s who aren’t nice are those meanies who believe the Bible to be God the Father’s (sorry, UCC) word on earth.

Does gender specific language offend?  Then just change it!  Be relevant to those to whom (and to those two, whom) such language is a barrier to communion with whatever God you believe you worship.

But the Niceness doesn’t end at gender nonsense, of course.  Niceness leads to denominational endorsement of same-sex marriage, ordination of homosexual ministers, and implicit condoning all manner of sexual impropriety that now imposes as the contemporary norm.  Consider an elaboration of this tip from John Richardson, who has studied Shrinkology in modern churches:

Contemporary relevance is a fundamental tool in denominational shrinkage. Not only does it deter people from going to your churches, it actually camouflages the fact that they are not.

And, as Richardson states, here is the great lie that goes unnoticed until all the pews are empty:

But of course nobody will commit themselves to a church which is preaching what they (the non-churchgoer) already practise. Sundays are for resting, in bed or with family and friends, not sitting in uncomfortable buildings … watching badly performed rituals and listening to the blessed thoughts of the half-unbelieving and half-trained, though well-intentioned, minister.

I couldn’t have said it any better.  And it just amazes me how many Christian denominations, in an effort to grow abandon the very reason for church in the first place: scripturally sound doctrine that drives a self-controlled disciplined lifestyle, set apart from the world, being transformed by the renewing of the mind to God’s thoughts to be more like Jesus daily.

Blechhhh!  I can’t believe I even wrote that.

Tip 2:  Drop Your Demands

Related to being relevant in modern culture, dropping troublesome demands on a sinful lifestyle and stressing holiness is a sure-fire church shrinker.  As Richardson notes:

[M]aintaining the demands of orthodox belief generally doesn’t sit well with denominational shrinkage. A broad church is, by and large, a leaky church. If you want to lose the average person from your church then, paradoxically, you must declare as ‘faith’ what the average person already finds it easy and comfortable to believe. Never mention the afterlife except in terms of cosy reassurance about the love of God. Specifically, never mention hell – except when assuring people that a loving God could not possibly send anyone to such an awful place invented by vindictive humans etc. (It may be necessary to keep off the Bible in general or Jesus’ own words in particular at this point.)

Yes, make your church one of Easy Believism.  Do not require repentance, a holy lifestyle, adherence to scripture in matters of morals and behavior, or any of the other things that Jesus tends to like.  And never, never, mention H-E-L-L.

Tip 3:  Never mention or stress mission.

Jesus gave a Great Commission that scared the socks off me when I first heard it.  Go into all the world . . . making disciples . . . of all nations.  Each phrase chilled my already cold soul as I realized what would happen to my kingdom once the Great Commissioners got moving.

Fortunately in the modern church today, particularly in Western cultures, there is virtually no Great Commissioning going on.  Most Christians go through their entire lives without making one disciple!

I know, my servants, I know.  It’s unbelievable!

But it’s true.  Churches with members that don’t reach out to friends, neighbors, co-workers, and their surrounding community with Good Deeds and Good News will only shrink away to oblivion.  It is inevitable; it is happening now.  As Richardson concludes, quoting a book The Churching of America 1776–1990 by Roger Finke and Rodney Stark:

[T]o the degree that denominations rejected traditional doctrines and ceased to make serious demands on their followers, they ceased to prosper. The churching of America was accomplished by aggressive churches committed to vivid otherworldliness.

Yes, that’s true to an extent.  But the fact is that all churches are committed to “otherworldliness.”  But because the “otherworldliness” is not “vivid” a shrinking number are aggressively committed to God’s “other world” while a growing number are aggressively committed to my “other world.”

Lack of vividity fuels church growth my way.

Viva nonvividity!

More graduation prayers (to God) stopped!

Basking.

May I bask, my servants?  I won again.  For a moment can I share my pride with you and have you acknowledge once again my uncommon supremacy over common sense and common decency?

I may?

Thank you.

Coming off the heels of my last post, I read today of my servants once again displacing theistic religious practices with atheistic religious practices.  Only this time I got an American federal judge to not only stop the long tradition of prayers at a high school graduation; I got him to prevent the chillens from even hearing the word “invocation” or “benediction.”

And all in the name of America’s love affair with all that is mine in the area of religion.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

The proof of my success can be found in a Reuters story entitled, “Prayers removed from Texas public school graduation.”  District Judge Fred Beiry ruled that even using words like ‘invocation” and “benediction” would make it sound like the public school is “sponsoring a religion.”

Aided by the Americans United for Separation of Theistic Church from Atheistic State, chief servant Fred even ruled that students could not say “God bless you” during the ceremony.

Bless you, Fred.

Hey, Judge Fred, a question.  Does ensuring no prayer or God-talk make it sound like the school is sponsoring a belief system that treats God as if he does not exist?  Maybe, say, an atheistic religion?

If you answer no, then you have bought my “religion only means ‘God’” lie, and are ignorant of your own legal system’s use of the term “religion.”

Of course, the whole de-Godding of Castroville’s (no kidding — that’s the name!) Medina Valley High School was caused by one parent, who threatened that their little tender-ears, thin-skinned, helpless, hopeless son “might” not participate in the graduation if he were forced to participate in theistic religious activities.  Apparently he can only bear to participate in atheistic religious activities.

So must everyone else, thanks to Tender-Ears.

Atheism for all because of atheism for one.

I might make that my motto.

Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Tender-Ears and my hapless servant Fred.

Ahhh.  Basking is good.

Graduates? They ain’t got (an official) prayer.

Graduation.

Dangerous piece out there today, folks.  And from one of our own.  Well, not really mine because he does not believe in me any more than he believes in God, but when it comes to kingdom building, this one is mine.

Good piece, I’ll admit; but dangerous piece nonetheless.

You know, my servants, especially my American friends, that this time of year brings a rash of rash behavior in the form of public gyrations around high school graduation prayers.  In the good ol’ days before I found lone offendees to screw up what was right, prayers were an official part of the whole shebang.  Everyone, even foolish unbelievers, were not so foolish as to be disrespectful of others.

But, of course, I have won in the public sphere largely through those lone offendees, or at least those who feign offense to feed the NCACLU machine.  Now graduates are not even allowed to see a cross in the vicinity of their graduation, much less hear a short prayer.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Am I good, or what?

But if people read today’s opinion piece by Bruce Ledewitz over at Religion Dispatches entitled “It’s Time to Reconsider Graduation Prayer in Public High Schools,” the gig might be over.  You see, Mr. Ledewitz, who, according to God is a fool, is nevertheless intelligent enough to make some key insights into what my servants on earth have done to graduation prayers.

I can’t set up the issue better than he did, so bear with his long opening quote; it’s worth the read:

It happens every year around this time: a public high school in a small town schedules a graduation prayer in plain violation of the 1992 Supreme Court case prohibiting such prayers, Lee v. Weisman; then a local student steps up to demand that the prayer be dropped and a moment of silence, or other invocation, be substituted. There is local outrage but the school board’s attorney recommends compliance to save litigation costs. In the end, the local community is fodder for sophisticated national ridicule. It’s the Scopes Monkey Trial all over again.

You got the picture, right?  It’s actually a wonderful sight each year.  We look forward to it.

Mr. Ledewitz points out one of this year’s shows in Bastrop, Louisiana, where the local atheist tool was a dude named Damon Fowler.  It only takes one, and this time My One, backed up by my NCACLU, forced the prayer to be dropped in favor of a moment of silence.

Mr. Ledewitz says “no one” can criticize Fowler, characterizing My One as “courageous” for “standing up for his beliefs.”

Oh yeah?  Courageous

Ha ha ha ha ha.

It is not courage, my friends, but spite, bitterness, and a general propensity to be a jerk that usually drive My Ones on earth in this regard.  Who in their right mind believe it is civil and generally un-jerky to make many offended for the sake of one selfish jerk who might be offended?

Well, I know the NCACLU; my question was rhetorical.

What is the problem with forcing a clear majority of happy Americans with their long-standing happy traditions at special occasions to sit down and shut up in a moment of silence?

Mr. Ledewitz tells us:

The ban tends to push prayer into the unofficial remarks of student speakers, which is what happened Friday at the Bastrop High School graduation ceremony; when graduating senior Laci Mae Mattice stood up to lead the planned moment of silence, she invited the audience to join her in the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer.

Yes, I heard that.  Wow, that girl Laci’s prayer just about took our breath away!

Sometimes I think it was better when some boring “clergy” stood up and droned on for a few moments of mass thought-wandering in the audience.

In any event, as Mr. Ledewitz notes, no US courts have succeeded in making all graduation prayers illegal.  The courts have merely shifted the focus from meaningless clergy-led pauses in the program to passionate student-led highlights of the program.

Mr. Ledewitz worries that if the Americans keep pounding this issue, dragging Christian students off stages as they yell Jesus’s name, those of more common sense might pass a constitutional amendment protecting the right of pubic prayer.

Again, am I good, my servants?  Can you believe that there is even talk about a constitutional amendment to protect the right of public prayer.  The people who wrote the constitution were public prayers of the highest order.  The first President and Congress made public prayers a major focus of all he/they did.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

A constitutional amendment.

Sorry, but that just shows how good I am — ha ha ha ha ha!

OK, let me compose myself, because I need to address some of Mr. Ledewitz’s errors.  Because he is swerving into some common sense truth that is inconsistent with his own professed belief, and dangerous to my kingdom.

Mr. Ledewitz suggests that the court decisions that caused official graduation prayers to cease should be reconsidered.

Why?

Because he recognizes the obvious that Americans have sacrificed a “communal expression of meaning” by promoting a “radical individualism.”  And Mr. Ledewitz believes that some form of “communal expression” is good, because “community requires some kind of creed–though not of course necessarily a religious creed.”

Of course.

This is where my servants go wrong, my friends.  This is going to get ugly, but follow me on this one.

Mr. Ledewitz notes that one of the Supreme Court justices responsible for today’s predicament even noted that “this dearth of communal meaning in the public square was admitted.”  And another guilty justice stated,

. . . that the government could not undertake the task of prayer even to express “the shared conviction that there is an ethic and a morality which transcend human invention.”

But Mr. Ledewitz, no doubt with a glimmer of flickering light that exists in all created image bearers, disagrees.

This is where it gets dangerous.

Mr. Ledewitz, you are a “non-believer” which means you are an atheist.  What, exactly, can possibly “transcend human invention” in the context of prayer?

No, really, what?

To make matters worse, Mr. Ledewitz quotes another of my favorite useful fools, atheist Sam Harris, for insisting in his recent book The Moral Landscape that “there is an objective morality that goes beyond human invention.”

Mr. Ledewitz, swept up in a fit of unrecognized truth concludes:

But whatever the separation of church and state might mean, whatever government neutrality involves, it cannot forbid government from asserting that moral values are real.

Real?  Yes, but where do they come from, Mr. Ledewitz?

Just because this has been a traditionally religious position is no reason for secular people to give up on objective values.

Blechhh!  The darkened mind speaks unrecognized truth!

Objective values?  Do you know what these words mean, my servants?  Must I tell you?

No, I’ll let you figure it out yourself.  Go study the difference between “subjective” values and “objective” values.  (Hint for the lazy: if there is no God, there can be nothing transcendent or objective.)

Stop, Mr. Ledewitz.  Just stop.

This entire discussion is leading to one conclusion, which is true: everyone is religious.  Some people are atheistically religious, with a theology of atheism (Mr. Ledewitz’ piece is under a heading of (A)theology).  Others are theistically religious.

To start opining about “transcendent” “objective” values is to recognize that only theistic religions can possibly be true. Which makes atheists fools.

And a world where this truth is known is a world in which my kingdom suffers.

Mr. Ledewitz concludes with this mindless collision with kingdom destroying truth:

If the government is indeed establishing religion, by all means, let us object. But let us also be sensitive and willing to compromise, understanding that the yearning for transcendent meaning is not confined to religious believers.

Yes, it is, my friend Ledewitz.  It just depends on which religion is being believed.

I have worked hard to get government endorsement for atheistic religion in all areas of public life.

Don’t muck it up.

Ping pong or Jesus? Easy. Just keep the abortions coming.

Posted in abortion, Bible, christians, common sense, multiculturalism, public schools, religion, separation of church and state, toleration with tags , on May 5, 2011 by devilbloggger

Ping pong.

There’s a mix of good news and bad today on the wires today, my servants.  On the good news side, who would ever have thought that ping pong would beat Jesus on the scale of approval by which public school officials weigh student priorities?   Well, I mean who besides moi, of course!

Ha ha ha ha ha.

The good news I refer to today is from a Fox News story entitled “School Bans Christian Club.”  You will love this, my servants.  This is my will on earth in action.  It seems some Godpunk students wanted to start a Christian club at (I’m not making up this name) Hicksville High School in Islip, New York, USA.

The good principal (Brijinder Singh?) of Hicksville Godless High School did the right thing, however, by, according to the story saying, “I ain’t havin’ none of them dang Christians in my dadgum skool.”  Or something to that effect.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

And she meant it, dad burnit!

And do you know why?  Because there is no funding for another klub at Hicksville School for Atheists, especially not a Christian club.  In 2008, according to the Fox News story:

the principal denied a similar request and said that any religious club must be “multi-faith,” open to all religions and must allow non-believers to lead the club.

Well, now, that’s my kind of principal.  This makes as much sense as saying that the school administration must be “multi-IQ” and must allow imbeciles to lead the school.

Why not?

No, really, why not?

But my good principal didn’t have the IQ to be totally honest with parents.  According to the story she stated that the school didn’t have the money in the budget for a Christian club.

But they have the money for a ping pong club, a ski club, a debate club, and 32 other clubs.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

My servants make my day.

And it’s a good thing, because now, the bad news.  What is wrong with America on the issue of abortion, my servants?  I’m losing my grip.  Just today I see a headline at the weeklystandard.com entitled, “House Passes ‘No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act’ 251 to 175.”

What?  Didn’t each of those 251 congressmen and congresswomen swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States?  Isn’t abortion a rock solid constitutional right, engraved right into the original document somewhere between free speech and freedom of religion?

And why, my servants, would anyone object to taxpayer funding for a fundamental right of all already-born women and their irresponsible already-born menfolk?

Are Americans going soft on killing?  Apparently so, my friends.  According to the Weekly Standard story, polls show that Americans overwhelmingly oppose federal funding of abortion or allowing federally subsidized insurance plans to cover abortions.

I don’t understand.  I’ve owned the public schools in America for decades now.  I’ve got them playing ping pong instead of going to Bible clubs.  I’ve taught every little chillen within my control, i.e., every public school chillen, the lie of safe sex with no consequences.  And I’ve gotten school administrators to leave their ping pong games long enough to guide scared little girls who found a consequence to terminate the consequence without any fuss from anyone, including parents (unless an aspirin was necessary also; that requires parental consent).

I don’t understand.  You, my servants, will be held directly responsible if I see any significant decline in my favorite American pastime: killing one, wounding one, destroying many.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

Now, get to work electing officials who understand my will on earth.

Raunchy? That’s what I do.

Posted in Ethics, secular humanism, Sexual revolution, toleration with tags , , on February 27, 2011 by devilbloggger

Raunchy.

I love the sound of the term “raunchy,” don’ t you?  There’s something about that word that captures the essence of much of who I am and what I do on earth.  Is television raunchy?  That’s me.  Are movies raunchy?  That’s me.  Bestselling novels raunchy?  That’s me.  Raunchy MTV videos?  That’s me.  Raunchy YouTube videos?  That’s me.  Raunchy Wii games?

What?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

My servants, I delight in taking a tool with the potential for cultural and societal good and seeing how quickly I can subvert its use to drive the basest desires of human beings.   I’m particularly diligent in corrupting any new technology that has the capacity to further God’s kingdom into one that suckers human beings further to mine.

And now, I’m happy to say, I’ve even branched out into toyland spreading my women-degrading, man-lusting delights to kids by way of none other than the otherwise amoral Wii.

Wheeeee!

Here is how I do it, my servants.  This is kingdom knowledge, so handle it appropriately.  Inside every human being (but mostly men) a prurient voyeur lurks that just loves to sneak a peek at the unseemly or obscene when it can.  And, of course, a peek hardly suffices so usually a focused gaze of curiosity becomes necessary.  And of course, curiosity can hardly be satisfied without a good long study of the subject matter.  And then, of course, after an intense, prolonged appreciation of the matter the satisfied prurient appetite merely needs a little time to lust for even more.

So all I need do is gauge the current standard of lewdness and obscenity and push the boundary slightly with some “alarming” new salacious tidbit of lyrics, screenplay or video.

Parents howl, critics titter, network executives dissimulate, the FCC weighs in, and . . . I merely wait for the dust to settle to a new normal.

And then I do it again.  The sensitized prurient organ of humans lusts for more.  What once shocked the eyes and ears now seems dull and routine.  The eyes need another body part to glimpse; the ears need another cuss word to consider.

And the beat goes on.

As long as I keep slowly moving the fenceline of raunchiness I get hordes of paying customers, like sheep without a shepherd, grazing along behind me.  It seems the grass is greener with money on the other side.

You see, my servants, if no one watched, listened, or participated in my shenanigans, I would fail.  But I am a great success because so many people, including Christians and those who call themselves Christians, laugh, giggle, rewind, TiVo, email, share, and otherwise indulge their prurient interests in my offerings.

And the beat goes on.

I did it with television.  Remember when television was full of good, healthy programming?  Comedies were funny without sexual innuendo, dramas were serious without sexually explicit scenes, and movies were engrossing and enchanting without graphic sexual exploitation.

Of course, now you have Charlie Sheen.

Ha ha ha ha ha.  That’s me!

So you can imagine my delight, my servants, when I read in the UK’s The Sun newspaper today that even Wii is rushing for my action.  You know Wii,  the little kid’s game?  Right?

Well, now, according to the article entitled “It’s Wii too rude,” it seems that Nintendo’s Wii is getting raunchy as well with a game everyone should enjoy, and which I hope everyone does enjoy.  The game involves players, so to speak, in flirty hands-on sex games which involve such good fun as women hiding the “Wiimote” inside their pants or skirt in just the right place so that the fun-loving men can rack up points by spanking in just those right places.

And my Wii victory is especially rewarding because the very name “Wii” was coined because Nintendo intended the game to be a family system that everyone in the family could enjoy.  In early 2006 Nintendo chose a name that sounds like the English word “we” to signify togetherness.

Oh! The fun!  Men spanking laughing women as both hope, no doubt, to score big later.  And the fun never ends!  The promo videos show women seeming to kiss women (all in fun!) and in one YouTube video the fun-loving lads swap partners and head off to have sex.  We’re not sure with whom, or how many.  But who cares?

That’s me!

Now, here’s what I’m proud of, my friends.  It took decades to slowly transform television from Dick Van Dyke to Charlie Sheen.  It took decades to painstakingly degrade movies from Gone with the Wind to Knocked Up.  It took decades of persistence to go from Barbra Streisand to Lady Gaga.

But it took less than 5 years, my servants, to take a game that “everyone could enjoy” to be a game that everyone could enjoy with some real togetherness!

See how I operate?

And the beat goes on.

Wheeee!

My religious freedom in action

Posted in political correctness, religion, toleration with tags , , on January 24, 2011 by devilbloggger

Bandwagon.

Hey, my servants, want to jump on a bandwagon?  This one is playing my tune.  I love it when someone of my ilk trumpets “religious freedom” but in fact is advocating the exact opposite.  And do you know what?  It works!  Those bred in modern relativist cultures today have little mental agility or intellectual ability to see through such nonsense, and this global mental numbness works only to my favor.

I can hear the music now.

This time, the sound of delicious irony playing in the air comes from today’s AP story entitled “Academy critic calls for superintendent’s firing.”  That’s the United States Air Force Academy, and the superintendent is a mere Lt. General named Mike Gould.  That’s three stars, for those of you not up with the US military’s levels of its highest rank.  What did this poor three-star general do that received calls for his firing?  The old chap crossed all boundaries of political correctness and invited–get this–a Christian to speak at a voluntary prayer luncheon.  Yes, you heard right–what was the good general thinking?

I know, my servants, I know.   And not just any Christian, but a wounded Vietnam veteran who is an evangelical Christian and now says he’s in the “Lord’s Army” (blechhh!).

Where’s the bandwagon, you ask?

Well, it starts with a very tolerant group that can’t tolerate evangelical Christians, and goes by the misleading and totally dishonest (hey, I love it!) title of  the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.  Yes, my servants, you read that right–an organization purporting to be for religious freedom is publicly calling for General Mike Gould’s ouster because General Gould is exercising his (and other’s) religious freedom in the military.  Now there’s some toleration for you!

Isn’t this just perfect harmony?  I couldn’t have written a better score.  Well, actually I did write this music, but I’m surprised anyone is playing it, and listening to it!

And it gets better, my friends.  It seems that the Military Freedom from Christian Religion Foundation’s Mikey (awe!) Weinstein’s reasoning is that General Gould’s exercise of religious freedom in the military cannot be tolerated because:

“[T]he choice of Marine 1st Lt. Clebe McClary shows superintendent Lt. Gen. Mike Gould is tilted toward evangelical Christianity and tolerates an environment where proselytizing is accepted.”

And, as we all know, religious freedom cannot tolerate someone else tolerating a Christian environment.  Yes, my servants, we must be intolerant toward any tolerance toward Christianity, because, in today’s world “religious freedom” means freedom to shut God out of the public square, to keep Christians from talking anywhere, and to generally be antagonist toward all things Godly.

But little Mikey (awe!) goes even further.  According to little Mikey (awe!) the Military Freedom from Religion Foundation stands for the following brilliant proposition:

When one proudly dons a U.S. Military uniform, there is only one religious symbol: the American flag.  There is only one religious scripture: the American Constitution.  Finally, there is only one religious faith; American patriotism.

And that’s religious freedom, little Mikey (awe!)?  “only one” this; “only one” that, and “only one” the other?

Ha ha ha ha ha.

No, little Mikey (awe!), that’s religious bondage.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

In fact, I like it.

Jump on the Religious Freedom bandwagon, my friends, and stop religious freedom whenever it looks remotely like Christianity.  And for my American friends, do not write in support of General Gould, but donate to little Mikey (awe!) and help little Mikey (awe!) stop all religions but his (and my) own.
