The Mourning After the U.S. Elections

My servants.  My servants.  My servants.

What can I say?  Did you fail me?  Was it too much to ask to simply vote for the greater of two evils?  As I’ve said before, in any contest there is always a candidate I prefer.  And I can select ‘em, but I can’t elect ’em.  But, alas, too many of my candidates lost last night.  Yes, I believe you failed me, my servants.

And what is it with guys named Daniel Webster and me?  Really!  Why am I always getting whipped by someone named Daniel Webster?  Was it too much to ask that at least Daniel Webster could be defeated in Florida?  My man, my MAIN man, Alan Grayson was defeated, and not by just anyone, but by some guy named Daniel Webster!  It’s enough to make me lose heart, if I had one.  Recall this post, where I gushed on Alan Grayson.

Why, oh why did it have to be Daniel Webster who defeated Alan Grayson?  Ever since that myth of Daniel Webster and the Devil, where the first Webster claims that the Devil cannot take the soul because he cannot claim American citizenship, I’ve carried a grudge.  Webster (the first) orated passionately of how wonderful it is to be an American. He admitted the wrongs done in America, but argued that something new and good had grown from it, “and everybody had played a part in it, even the traitors.” Mankind “got tricked and trapped and bamboozled, but it was a great journey,” something “no demon that was ever foaled” could ever understand.

Stop! Stop!  The first Webster humiliated me, and my fear is that this new Webster has the same ideas as the old.  This new Webster is said to be “pro-family,” which is code language for “religious” in the bad way (not my humanistic way) and patriotic.  This second Webster probably also believes that America is exceptional, and that it is wonderful to be an American.  Webster Two is even a longtime member of First Baptist Central Florida whose pastor, Clayton Cloer, had this to say about Daniel Webster (the second):

Daniel Webster is a man of honor. A man of respect. A man of character. A man who will bring great honor to a race to serve the people he’s been serving now faithfully for nearly 30 years.

Oh, gag me.

I’m going to miss the wit and eloquence of Alan Grayson, who, speaking of his opponents said they are “foot-dragging, knuckle-dragging neanderthals who know nothing but ‘no’.”  Now that’s my kind of talk, my servants, and we must work hard to ensure people like Alan Grayson get elected the next time around.  Bear with Webster (the second) and all his newly minted cohorts for a couple of years, and then vote them out.

Yes, we must have the long view, my servants.  Elections come and go, candidates will come and go, but my principles of oppression via government intrusion on freedom, immorality with the force of law, tolerance of every evil and perverted behavior, and forced conformance to state-approved conduct shall prevail.  Trust me, I know human nature.

It will happen, my servants.  But I will need your help.  Please, oh please, do not let any more Daniel Websters win.

Please?

Alert: legal, constitutional right of abortion under attack!

Posted in abortion, congress, election, Morality, political correctness, politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , on October 24, 2010 by devilbloggger

ABC’s The Note is reporting something that really disturbs me.  Please bear with me a moment while I get my wits about me.

OK.  Let me explain.

Abortion.  That treasured Constitutionally enshrined (in the United States) freedom and right of almost every woman (at least every woman able to defend herself), is once again under attack.

And this time it’s literally gruesome.  Now, ordinarily I like gruesome.   And I love lying, killing and destroying, and abortion is a three-in-one for me.  But I like gruesome on my terms, when it’s effectively hidden by euphemisms and confounded by legal jargon.   I don’t like gruesomeness used against me, and that’s what is happening now.

And I want it stopped.

It seems some do-gooder candidate for Congress from Washington DC, named Missy Smith doesn’t like abortion.  Hey, Missy!  Join the losing crowd.  It doesn’t matter what you like–it’s the law!  Ha ha ha ha ha.  I love saying that: It’s the LAW!  It’s in the Constitution!  Ha ha ha ha ha.

But just because abortion is chiseled into the Constitution, and it’s legal in every state, and it’s taught in every public school, and it’s every woman’s right (as well as her sorry partner’s), and it’s (almost) every woman’s choice, and state officials eagerly ensure  little girls can do it without their mother’s knowledge, doesn’t mean you can show it on TV!

What if we went around graphically showing the illegal kind of murder, complete with pictures of deliberate dismemberment and the bloody aftermath.  Huh, Missy?

But that’s what Missy’s doing (I mean the legal kind).  You can see her ads yourself by going to her website.  Tell me they aren’t disgusting, and that she’s crossed the politically correct line by ignoring debate about “choice” and showing the raw truth about abortion.  Tell me, please.  I’m about to lose it here.

For years I’ve been able to convince people that abortion was merely a “procedure.”  And the political issue was about “choice”.  I’ve convinced people that women big enough to say so could shout “hands off my body!”  And women too small to say so?  Well, believe it or not, I convinced an entire planet of people that they don’t count.  They are either an “inconvenience,” an “intruder,” a “lifeless blob,” maybe a “product of conception,” and perhaps even a “potential human being.”  And as long as no one could see the lifeless blob’s eyes, or hold the intruder’s hand, or see the potential human being’s very potential severed limbs (placed back in close proximity on a table to resemble the original “thing” to make sure the doctor “got it all”), these euphemisms enabled easy “choices.”

But, here’s the dirty truth that I’ve been able to suppress for 40 years in the United States.  It’s grisly whether you see it or not.  But as long as you can’t see it, you don’t know it.  Out of sight, out of mind, as I like to say.

Missy is trying to expose that truth, and in the worst way.  She says she had two abortions but has turned against the practice.   She continues:

“I was told it’s not a baby. They lied to me. They exploited me. Then I learned the truth and I’ve suffered for years,” she says. “And believe me I am angry. My heart has been ripped out. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Norton – they all support the murder of babies and the abuse of women by abortion. It’s time to make child killing illegal again.”

Well, cry me a river.  Just because you are angry, and just because Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Norton all support doing my will on earth, is no reason for you to impose your unconstitutional beliefs on others.  And you have absolutely no business interfering with my business by putting up those vile videos of legal, safe, abortions.

So, my servants, whatever you do, don’t watch her videos.  I can’t stop Missy from posting them, but I can ask you to not watch them.  They are so bad even YouTube yanked them as being too “grisly.”  And, while you are at it, don’t watch this.

But mostly, my servants, please ensure that Missy Smith does not get elected.  Her kind are bad news for me and my kingdom.  Do not give to her campaign.  For sure do not vote for her.  And make sure that she and all others who oppose my will with respect to legal, Constitutional “termination” of an unwanted “it” in a woman of choice do not get into power.

My will be done on earth as it is in Hell.

Voter issue guide, Part III (Freedom of thought vs thought control)

Noam Chomsky wrote in a piece called “Propaganda, American Style,” the following:

In 1921, the famous American journalist Walter Lippmann said that the art of democracy requires what he called the “manufacture of consent.” This phrase is an Orwellian euphemism for thought control.

He (and Lippmann) is right, and the beauty of this insight is in knowing that in almost all cases “manufactured consent” falls in my favor.  People rarely consent in large numbers to God’s decrees.  But mine?  Well, let’s just say the way must be made wide to accommodate all who naturally come my way.

In 1921 it was easy.  Even in 1984 it was easy.  Those were the days.  But, my servants, technology and media changes in the last decade or two have made it most difficult for me to manufacture consent in the United States.  I have ways; I control most faculty lounges, which are full of puffed up human wisdom; I have virtually conquered the field of science, which is full of God-deniers at the highest levels (most people in the National Academy of Sciences are self-described atheists!); and, in politics I have all but overwhelmed any viewpoints contrary to my own.

But times are quickly changing, and I don’t like what I see.  Which is why I address as a fundamental voter issue this idea of freedom of thought.  Recall that in general, I am against liberty, against freedom of conscience, and against freedom of thought.  And, in general, I am for bondage, for forced toleration of all views by the individual, and for enforced centralized thought control for all.

Here’s the bottom line, my servants, one which you should take very, very seriously: when people are free to think, I lose.  I hate to admit it. But it’s the truth.  (Don’t let this out–this is just between us.)

That’s why it’s truth that I hate.  Truth sets people free.  But as long as I can control what “truth” people are permitted to believe, I can still win.  And that’s where you people, my servants, come into the picture.  Because you can vote in people who believe, like I do, that certain viewpoints should be suppressed, as not worthy of challenging the consensus.

Todays lesson: Freedom of thought vs thought control

Thought. Control.  I love the sound of those two words.  Because it is only by taking captive men’s thoughts with pretentious and deceitful arguments that I have any power on earth.  So I wish for you to vote for people who share this view; that is, people who believe pretentious one-sided thoughts on important matters, and forcefully fill the entire thought space on the issue, effectively shutting out debate from the less worthy.

If I could simply impose a Ministry of Truth into the American system, my job would be easier.  As it is, I must rely on truth suppressing political maneuvering to accomplish the same goal.  As Chomsky continues:

Democratic societies can’t work like that [with a Ministry of Truth], because the state is much more limited in its capacity to control behavior by force. Since the voice of the people is allowed to speak out, those in power better control what that voice says–in other words, control what people think.

Chomsky hits the nail on the head next, identifying my deceit and cunning in managing important issues:

One of the ways to do this is to create political debate that appears to embrace many opinions, but actually stays within very narrow margins. You have to make sure that both sides in the debate accept certain assumptions–and that those assumptions are the basis of the propaganda system. As long as everyone accepts the propaganda system, the debate is permissible.

So, my servants, on important cultural issues such as abortion, evolution, global warming, judicial philosophy, etc.  Look for the candidate who advocates debate only within certain Satan-approved narrow assumptions.  Abortion?  The debate must be limited to one’s “choice,” not to the issue of life.  Evolution?  The debate is about science versus God and religion.  Global warming?  The debate is about man-made climate change with one solution, not natural cycles within natural limits.

You get the idea.  But I know that sometimes it’s hard to pin a candidate down on these topics, so look for one that exhibits secondary traits of government enforced thought control.   Look for one who embraces the ”fairness doctrine” or one who expresses reservations about the journalistic legitimacy of certain news organizations, or one who simply refuses to debate an important issue for which there is clear division of opinion because, he or she says, there “can be no debate on the issue.”

And here I tell you of the biggest opportunity of all.  There will likely be no greater opportunity for me to wreak my havoc on earth, and for sure the United States, for a long time.  I’m speaking of a US government takeover of the internet.

Yes.  Two more words I love: government and takeover.   And when they are used consecutively in that order in the context of information dissemination, I hear “easy street” for me and mine.

And that’s what’s happening, according to an article entitled, Big Brother Taking Over the Internet.  As Matthew Archbold reports at the Creative Minority Report, the details are here.  In short, November 30th could be the day the government seizes control of the internet.

And you, my servants could make it happen.  But you must vote for the votes in Congress to make it happen.

You get the idea.  Look for candidates who want you to believe the current government party line, and have an expressed disdain not only for all opposing viewpoints, but for the very right to express such viewpoints.

Go, my servants, and vote for them.  A vote for them is a vote for my will on earth, as it is in Hell.

Voter issue guide (Part 1–Liberty vs bondage)

Posted in abortion, congress, election, politics with tags , , , , , on October 2, 2010 by devilbloggger

It tires me to have to do this, but I understand that in the United States there is a big election coming up.  I do some of my best work in the United States because I find so little opposition.  So to ensure continued smooth operations I will provide some voter guidance for all who wish to please me.

I’m not going to waste too much time expounding on my will for some voter issues for which my position should be self-evident.  Abortion?  Duh!  But my servants should know more fundamentally how to look at issues and candidates.

In general, I am against liberty, against freedom of conscience, and against freedom of thought.  And, in general, I am for bondage, for forced toleration of all views by the individual, and for enforced centralized thought control for all.

Today’s lesson:  Liberty vs bondage

I support, and I ask my servants to support, candidates who work to limit individual liberty.  Liberty is best destroyed at the individual level by making, or keeping, an individual dependent upon another’s largesse.  Such dependency is best sold to the public as compassion; who could be against looking out for another’s welfare?  And the welfare I support is compassion divorced from an individual’s free will, and placed into the hands of tax-funded central planners, most of whom love to do my bidding.

And here’s where I do my best work in the modern world: liberty is doubly destroyed when the dependency of one burdens another who unwillingly provides the dependent’s support with resources stolen by yet another.  Stealing, you ask?  Well, I’m being frank here; but, yes, taxation, taking personal property by force without consent from one to give to another (who, I must gloat, is ultimately enslaved by such gifts)  is a form of theft.   What’s the difference between a thief in the night taking property without consent and the governer/president/Congress doing the same?  Nothing, really.  And the fact that very few see this is one of my most striking achievements.  Ha ha ha ha ha.

Yes, theft from one to enslave another.  That is my will on earth.  Support any candidate who agrees with this policy, and you will do my will on earth as it is in Hell.
